About Us

It all started when I was 4 yrs old, learning to knit basic squares to sew into blankets for our local hospital. Before long I had moved onto clothing for all my toys, then venturing onto clothing for me. Hats & Scarfs were first but it wasn't long before I'd knitted my first sweater and my lifelong passion had begun.

In the early years it was a relaxing distraction from studying, then during a 20yr engineering career it was a stress relief and now it's just life.

The loss of my father made me rethink life, so I gave up work to be there for my mother and 'That's My Fleece' was born.

More than a decade on and the knitting needles are still clicking daily with a variety of new designs as well as all the old favourites, and I know I made the right decision.

​​

Having spent all of my adult life based in Perthshire it felt time for a new adventure so in late 2023 I packed up everything, including my mother and we made the move to Shetland. Where better than to base a knitwear business, surrounded by like minded talented people, incredible scenery, wildlife and maybe the occasional breeze.
